Civil Ceremony
In Switzerland, civil marriage ceremonies can take place only in official civil wedding registry offices. Depending on the office, dates for a civil wedding can be reserved only a few months before the wedding.
If you would like to hold your civil wedding ceremony in more special location, we will help you to find a romantic spot and assist you with the organisation of an unforgettable civil ceremony.
Registry Office Rüti
This renovated administration building is part of the former Rüti monastery complex that dates back to the 13th century. In addition to the wedding ceremony room, the building houses a local museum, a library, an arched cellar and a large ballroom.
Amtshaus Bülach
The ballroom of the town hall, which dates from 1673, is an appropriate setting for your special day.
Villa Seerose (Waterlily) Horgen
The Seerose Villa from the early 20th century provides the perfect romantic backdrop for your civil wedding.
We would be delighted to help you find the perfect location for your civil wedding, as well as with the organisation of the post-ceremony aperitifs and/or any other catering-related planning.
Wedding Ceremony
Depending on preferences, this part of the wedding can vary a lot as each couple’s wishes are different.
Many couples choose a church wedding. However, depending on your wishes and your religion, we can organise your wedding ceremony in the hotel. With over 800 sq m of banqueting space, we can set up and decorate our rooms according to your needs. Our wedding consultant will be at your disposal throughout the process for recommendations, while a team of professionals will be on hand for all the wedding planning.
Our Escherwiese Ballroom, with its high ceiling and individual lighting concept, is the ideal setting for a festive evening.
Or select a very special place such as our Private Dining Room or our Wine Cellar for a smaller wedding celebrations.
