Situated on the corner of Beethoven-Strasse and Dreikönig-Strasse, ‘parkhuus’ offers a bold and vibrant setting in which to experience Zurich’s finest dining. Just as the quality of the ingredients will surprise the taste-buds, visually the restaurant has an equally strong impact. Set within floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides, its heart is a show kitchen where guests can see the chefs at work, and their food being prepared. Equally visible is the two-storey wine library which houses 3,000 bottles of wine and has its own spiral staircase for access.

Private dining for up to 10 people and wine tastings are available in the wine library. This elegant room is set within the wine library and features the ‘Chef’s Table’ underneath the extravagant Ingo Maurer chandelier ‘Porca Miseria!’ A second private dining space offers seating for up to 16 and provides intimate and inviting surroundings for private functions.

Signature dishes will include local Free-Range Chicken, Oven-Roast Red Snapper, Lamb Tenderloin and Seasonal Vegetables prepared on the wood-burning oven. All main dishes will be served alone and accompanied by side dishes in the centre of the table for guests to help themselves. The outstanding cuisine of ‘parkhuus’ belies a humble, unpretentious nature which makes the lively and energetic atmosphere of this neighbourhood restaurant easily approachable and provides excellent value for money. Seating for 128 is available inside with an additional 50 places on the terrace.

The Lounge

Open throughout the day, the non-smoking Lobby Lounge serves breakfast and light dining, afternoon high tea, freshly ground coffee and cool beverages in a comfortable and stylish environment featuring natural daylight as well as a cosy fireplace.

Breakfast Monday to Friday - 6:30am-10:30am
Weekends - 6:30am-11:00am

Healthy Living

As from April, Park Hyatt Zurich offers an innovative program called Healthy Living and completes with it the breakfast at The Lounge.

The thought of taking time out for a healthy breakfast rarely breaks the stride of the jet-setting business traveller. Recognising that guests are interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle while travelling, Park Hyatt has teamed up with renowned Brazilian nutritionist Patricia Teixeira to launch its Healthy Living at Park Hyatt menu. Café Z

Cafe Z is a small deli-style food outlet that caters for both hotel staff and external guests. This unique concept was introduced as a direct response to the needs of the hotel's location. Situated in the heart of the financial district many clients come from local banks and finance houses and look for a quick dining option that offers high quality food.

The emphasis is casual in Cafe Z with self-service available from 7am to 7pm. Hot meals are available for lunch and dinner with a wide variety of salads and deserts available from the buffet. Outside of normal meal periods a full repertoire of snack options including sandwiches, salads and drinks are available to eat in or take away.

As a new highlight, a selection of meals, which have been prepared by our Executive Chef and his team, are available as frozen take-away.
